Natalie trained under Paul Adkins, the founder of Facial Enhancement Acupuncture which is described as an “anti-ageing, non-surgical facelift and skin revitalising treatment”.
During treatment, tiny needles are used in facial points in order to target problem areas (such as lines, wrinkles and saggy skin) in order to help promote radiance and improve appearance. Other points are also used in order to rectify internal imbalances and improve overall health. Many patients report an improvement in their stress levels as well as improved radiance whilst feeling and looking more refreshed.
Natalie additionally incorporates a facial massage into this treatment, using acupressure points and aromatherapy oils that all contribute to the results.
Research published in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture in 1996 demonstrated that: “…of 300 people who received Facial Acupuncture, 90% demonstrated marked results after only their first treatment.”
The Irish Times additionally described the treatment as
“…a viable alternative to cosmetic surgery and the effects can run much deeper than simply improving appearances.”
The Daily Mail has described Cosmetic Acupuncture as “the newest weapon in the anti-ageing war.”
Migraines: I have suffered from migraines for about 7 years. They come on suddenly and I just have to go to bed for 2 days when it happens. I was desperate for something to help and my friend suggested acupuncture as she had been to Natalie before. After a few weeks the migraines were less frequent and less severe. Now I haven't had a migraine for about a year.
Facial enhancement acupuncture: I came to Natalie for facial acupuncture as I had read great good things about it. I wanted to do something about the lines around my eyes and above my top lip but I didn't want to resort to surgery. The lines on my face have definitely improved and I am really pleased with the results. My friends keep telling me that I look really healthy!
